Ein Stück Geschichte

Built between 1656 and 1670 by the Dutch East India Company, the building originally served as a hospital for Dutch soldiers and sailors. After the British took over in 1796, it continued as a hospital until the early 20th century. It was later used as a police station and other government offices before being restored and reopened as a shopping precinct in 2011.
