Min Jiang

Walking into Min Jiang I immediately felt inspired and lucky to be there. The view is stunning and I definitely recommend going before it’s too dark outside to really get the best view. The service was really attentive and welcoming, it felt like a special occasion. All of the tables have a great view and atmosphere and the drinks and food were brought out at a good pace so we were never waiting for anything. Onto the food - we ordered dim sum, prawn toast, half duck with fried rice and sirloin ho fun. Everything was prepared really well, no complaints. The duck was the best I’ve had and went so well with the sauces, vegetables and pancakes. The crispy duck skin with sugar was also itself a memorable and delicious bite. The fried rice was really good, the perfect texture. The beef noodles were great too! The beef was very tender and the noodles soft and chewy.

The best peking duck I’ve had in London! Took my partner here for her birthday and we both loved it. The restaurant is on the tenth floor of the royal garden hotel giving a great view of London. The service is really good and accommodating too. The food was amazing. We ordered the whole peking duck, it was super tender and juicy. Highly recommend getting it with noodles as the second dish (which uses the duck scraps). You can really taste the wok hei in a lot of the dishes which really makes a different adding a very nice smokey flavour. The sir loin beef was also great. Highly recommend!

Amazing - great food- all the dishes were perfect and there was a commanding view of Hyde park. Service was great but felt a little rushed at times because they were so busy with strict seating allocations. The dim sum and peking duck were amazing .

I have stayed many times at the Royal Garden Hotel, but never had the please of dining at their Flagship Restaurant, Min Jiang before. There was no availability at the restaurant, so I decided to try it via the in-room dining at the hotel. The in-room dining menu of the hotel listed only a few dishes from the extensive Min Jiang menu, but the hotel staff was happy to let me order off the entire menu. The prawn dumplings were outstanding! Just the right amount of spiciness from the chili oil. The stir fried beef with homemade Ho Fun noodles was also excellent. Even better, the portions were quite generous and the prices quite reasonable for the quality of the food provided. Kudos all around to making this a memorable experience. Probably the best in-room dining in my many years of travelling.
