From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The ambience and service provided by the staff made us felt comfortable. We ordered some starters - our favorite was Bloody Mary Corn Ribs and for mains, our favorite was pork chop. The scallops with truffle mash left us a little disappointed. Perhaps it was the ratio of mash & peas vs scallops or the scallops didn't taste fresh. the dish had such great potential but tasted underwhelming. Pork chop, however, was very well seasoned and cooked to near perfection. Would recommend visiting this place only if you are in the area.
This small restaurant on Poland Street is spectacular with great tasting food and good ambience. The portions are European sized (not huge), the flavors are bold and the ambience is relaxing. Balanced offerings including vegetarian options. The only downside of this place is that (like many restaurants in London), they have an expectation that you will be done with you meal in 2 hours. Toward our two hour mark, we were asked to either leave or move outside.
The food was nice and the atmosphere is quite pleasant. However it’s quite pricey for small plates and the waitress came over every 5 minutes. Our dinner was over in under an hour, we didn’t have time to properly relax and enjoy our time there. Will not return.
Got here by chance and really enjoyed the experience. Close to Oxford Circle but not in the middle of the busy area. Small comfortable place. Excellent food. Would definitely come back.
