This is the best food market in England. Some of the sellers have hit it high on social media and so the lines to get the foods you have seen can be 30 minutes wait (on a random weekday!) If I lived nearby I would try a new stall everyday. I just wish my tummy was bigger so I could eat more! It was amazing.
If you get there right after opening you will have a better experience. Many many produce stalls as well as food stalls. The chocolate strawberries which I thought were overrated and overpriced were actually a pleasant surprise. They were so good I understand the hype. But the real reason to visit are the black big sandwiches. These were awesome.
Lovely atmosphere. We came for the 6 course tasting menu and every course was excellent. The staff were attentive and professional and the chap in the blue and white stripy shirt (sorry I didn’t catch your name) was absolutely lovely and went out of his way to help us with a personal problem we had during the meal.
My vegan friends and I came here tonight for my friends’ birthday and Noah and Carlos were the best servers us four girls could ever ask for!!!! They were extremely charming and accommodating ;) They not only gave us fantastic menu recommendations but took a lovely photo for us and brought us a very special Birthday treat! Not to mention the food was absolutely phenomenal as well as the ambience of the restaurant. Would absolutely come here again. 5 stars out of 5!!! Give these boys a raise immediately. So much love for this place!
