This restaurant is beautiful! I was initially worried it might be a bit of a tourist trap given its location and ambience, but we were pleasantly surprised. It’s essential to book a table as it gets very busy. The bottles displayed on the walls create such a cool vibe, and we loved the overall feel of the place. The food was reasonably priced and of good quality. We tried the crab tagliatelle, focaccia, and lemon meringue pie—which was huge. The portion sizes were fair, and the service was good as well. However, there were a few downsides. Despite having card machines, we were required to pay at the table using a QR code, which came with an unexpected £1.50 fee. Additionally, a service charge was already included, but we were still prompted to tip, which felt excessive. The atmosphere was quite loud, and the tables were placed very close together, making it feel cramped. Lastly, we were disappointed that the cabbage dish we wanted wasn’t available. Overall, a nice experience with a few drawbacks.
The place itself is stunning, has an amazing decor, yet a very cosy vibe. The pizzas and cocktails were delicious and very well priced when it comes to London standards. Roberto, our waiter, was super polite, friendly and made us feel really comfortable. Overall, would recommend in a heartbeat (if you manage to get a reservation, that is).
Part of the Gloria family of restaurants this popular place in central London has fresh pasta and pizzas to interest any diner. The service staff is friendly and attentive despite being a very busy place.
Really like this Italian restaurant. Food was delicious and the restaurant has a great decor and atmosphere. You can only book 1 month in advance. Will definitely be going back.
