Branford House is a historic mansion situated on the Avery Point campus of the University of Connecticut in Mystic. Built in the early 20th century for railroad magnate Morton F. Plant, the mansion exemplifies Jacobethan Revival architecture with its turrets, gables, and stone facade. Set on a peninsula overlooking Long Island Sound, the property includes formal gardens and sweeping lawns.
