Türkmenbaşy Ruhy Mosque, also known as Gypjak Mosque, is a monumental religious complex located in the village of Gypjak, about 7 km west of Ashgabat. Completed in 2004, it can accommodate up to 10,000 worshippers. The mosque's exterior is clad in white marble, while its central dome is covered in gold leaf, creating a dazzling sight against the desert sky. Four minarets, each 63 meters high, flank the structure. Inside, the prayer hall is adorned with intricate Quranic inscriptions and chandeliers. Visitors are expected to dress modestly and remove shoes before entering.
