Trümmelbach Falls are a unique natural spectacle located inside the mountain in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. These are the only glacial waterfalls in Europe that are entirely within a mountain, fed by the melting waters of the Jungfrau glacier. Visitors access the falls via a lift that descends into the mountain, followed by a network of tunnels and galleries that lead to viewing platforms. The roar of the water is thunderous as it cascades through ten different chambers, carrying up to 20,000 liters of water per second during peak melt. The experience is immersive, with mist and spray filling the air, and the sight of the turquoise water plunging through rock formations is unforgettable. It's a must-see for anyone visiting the Jungfrau region.
