Schynige Platte is a mountain ridge in the Bernese Oberland, accessible by a historic cogwheel train from Wilderswil. At 1,967 meters (6,453 feet) above sea level, it offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. The site is renowned for its Alpine Garden, which showcases over 600 species of alpine plants in their natural habitat.
