Perched at 2,970 meters on the Schilthorn summit, Piz Gloria is the world's first revolving restaurant, completing a full rotation every hour. It offers diners a constantly changing panorama of the Bernese Alps, including the iconic peaks of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The restaurant's sleek, futuristic design from the 1960s remains largely unchanged, and its interior features large windows that maximize the views. Piz Gloria is also home to the 'Bond World' exhibition, which recounts the filming of 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' (1969), where the restaurant served as the headquarters of the villain Blofeld. Visitors can enjoy Swiss cuisine, from fondue to rösti, while the mountain scenery unfolds around them. The experience is both a culinary and cinematic journey, making it a highlight of any trip to the Jungfrau region.
