Palma Cathedral, locally called La Seu, dominates the Palma skyline with its soaring spires and intricate stonework. Perched on the city's seafront, this Gothic masterpiece was built on the site of a former mosque and took nearly 400 years to complete. Inside, visitors are awed by the vast nave, one of the tallest in Europe, and the stunning rose window, known as the 'Gothic Eye,' which casts colorful light across the interior. The cathedral also features a striking modern canopy over the altar designed by artist Miquel Barceló. From the adjacent plaza, you can enjoy panoramic views of the harbor and the Almudaina Palace. The blend of medieval architecture and contemporary art makes this a must-see landmark in Mallorca.
