✨ HighlightWe found Trattoria Mezzaluna a welcoming eatery. We hadn't booked and a table was found quickly. Not being overly hungry, we shared a prosciutto and mushroom pizza and a vegetable pizza. It was satisfying and very tasty. It was finished off with a lemon meringue pie, recommended. There is a great selection of food on the menu, both first and seconds. The waiter was amiable and friendly, which made our last evening in Bucharest an enjoyable night out. I would recommend this restaurant. Tables were large and comfortable.→

✨ HighlightCasa Doina is an elegant restaurant, tradițional and with a professional service. There is a good choice for food and wines but to be honest the food is not the reason to comeback. ✨ HighlightThis is the best new restaurant in our neighborhood! Our first visit was mid afternoon on a weekday so not too busy and we were served quickly. The food was delicious and fresh. The menu is diverse and has something for everyone in my opinion. We had a wonderful beetroot soup Indian balls seasoned nicely and salad. The price seems reasonable in my opinion. This isn’t fine dining but great family friendly neighborhood hangout. It’s perfect for friends and business casual meals. They even have a happy hour offering after 6pm. The first place I’ve been in Europe I think that served filtered water at no cost which I approve of and thought was a great touch. The staff are friendly but I always like smiles which there weren’t many but no complaints. The service was great fast and efficient. I highly recommend and will be back regularly.→

✨ HighlightOk so, the restaurant is beautiful, the staff are kind and friendly, but all in all the food is mediocre at best, the pasta (at least those with white sauce) are an agonizing experience, resembling more of a soup with noodles than a proper pasta dish. The risotto is pretty good and the burgers are average, though I could not recommend anything with fish. TLDR the food isnt good but the place looks nice, the staff is great. ✨ HighlightFirst of all, i arrived by myself on a quiet hour for dinner and had one of the best welcomes at a restaurant. The gentleman working there was excellent. Then because the traditional menu had no translation, I asked for a recommendation and was not even let to finish the sentence. In less than 10 minutes a juicy lettuce salad and an equally juicy plate of veal filets with gravy and oven potatoes was on the table. Needless to say how tasty it was. Also, I never thought that a Beck's beer would ever taste so good. Maybe that was because of the round ceramic jug that also kept it cool. Anyway there had to be a desert and that was also gracefully recommended. It was two pieces of an apple pie and a pear pie if I'm not mistaken, equally light and fresh that went so well with the last sips of the beer. There was no need for coffee. From the decoration of the restaurant you can understand that you are into one of those magical places, you understand this as soon as you get there. It is a classic place, remains totally present outside of time. But it also challenges your mind, makes it contemplate about history, and takes the imagination far.→
