Central Zoo, situated in Jawalakhel, is Nepal's only zoological garden and a beloved family attraction. Spread over six hectares, it houses more than 700 animals representing over 100 species, including Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinos, leopards, and various birds. The zoo offers a chance to see native Himalayan wildlife up close, along with exotic species. Visitors can stroll along shaded pathways, visit the reptile house, and enjoy a boat ride on the pond. It's an educational and recreational spot, especially popular with children.
