Tritons' Fountain is a landmark at the entrance to Valletta, just outside the City Gate. The fountain features three bronze figures of Tritons, mythological sea gods, each blowing a conch shell, set in a large circular basin. It was designed by sculptor Vincent Apap and completed in 1959. The fountain is a popular meeting point and a symbol of the city's post-war reconstruction. Visitors can admire the intricate bronze work and the dynamic composition, which captures the energy of the sea. The surrounding area offers views of the city walls and the modern Parliament building.
