The place felt very traditional, service was excellent, no English speaker but that was not a problem! Unagi (grilled eel with rice and Umaki (omelette with eel) were delicious!
The hitsumabushi set was pretty good. The food took a while to be ready but the service and food taste was pretty good, more pricey most restaurants.
Decent view, the place is really packed. The ambiance is rather fun and relaxed, but the prices are pretty steep, even for Geneva. I usually never say this but the portions were on the smaller side as well. Nice wine list (if of course overpriced), good service, and the food per se is rather good. A big plus, they're opened on Sunday evenings !
Terrible experience. Host would not seat us at a table despite availability when we got there and still many open tables available when we left - she insisted we had to sit at the counter - I believe she thought we were tourists and biased. We took food to go because it took too long and food was not good. Very bad experience overall.
