The Pisa Baptistery, dedicated to St. John the Baptist, is the largest baptistery in Italy. Its unique blend of Romanesque and Gothic architecture features a dome and external arches. Inside, the acoustics are phenomenal; staff often demonstrate by singing. The hexagonal marble pulpit by Nicola Pisano is a highlight. The baptismal font is also notable.
