San Carlo al Corso, dedicated to St. Charles Borromeo, is one of Noto's finest Baroque churches. Its concave facade, adorned with columns, statues, and a central balcony, is a masterpiece of theatrical design. The interior is equally impressive, with a single nave lined with rich stuccoes, frescoes, and marble altars. The church's elliptical plan and light-filled dome create a sense of grandeur. Located on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the main street, it is a key stop on any Baroque walking tour. Visitors often pause to admire the intricate details of the facade, including the statues of saints and the coat of arms of the Nicolaci family, who funded its construction.
