Palazzo Nicolaci di Villadorata is one of Noto's most opulent Baroque palaces, built for the powerful Nicolaci family. Its facade along Corso Vittorio Emanuele is adorned with a series of elaborate wrought-iron balconies, each supported by grotesque figures of lions, horses, and mythical creatures. These balconies are among the most photographed features of Noto. Inside, the palace boasts richly decorated rooms with frescoed ceilings, stuccoes, and period furniture. Visitors can tour the state apartments, including the ballroom and the family chapel. The palace also hosts temporary exhibitions and cultural events. A visit offers a glimpse into the aristocratic life of 18th-century Sicily.
