Torino Hut, also known as Rifugio Torino, is a historic mountain refuge perched at an elevation of 3,375 meters on the border between Italy and France. Originally built in the 1930s and rebuilt in the 1950s, this stone-and-wood structure serves as a base for climbers and hikers exploring the Mont Blanc massif. Visitors can reach the hut via the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car from Courmayeur, followed by a short walk. The refuge offers stunning 360-degree views of surrounding peaks, including Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, and the Grandes Jorasses. Inside, you'll find a cozy restaurant serving hearty alpine cuisine, a small museum detailing the history of mountaineering in the region, and overnight accommodations for those planning multi-day treks. The experience of standing on the terrace, feeling the thin mountain air and gazing at the endless sea of glaciers, is unforgettable.
