The Draupadi Ratha stands out among the Pancha Rathas for its modest, hut-like shape, resembling a village shrine with a curved roof. Carved from a single rock, it is dedicated to Draupadi, the wife of the Pandavas. Inside, a sculpture of the goddess Durga slaying the buffalo demon Mahishasura is a highlight. Despite its simplicity, the ratha's proportions and carvings showcase the elegance of Pallava architecture. It is the only ratha without a vimana (tower), emphasizing its humble design.
