Mount Dzhimara, rising to 4,780 meters, is a prominent peak in the Khokh Range of the Greater Caucasus, just east of Kazbegi. It offers a serious mountaineering experience with technical sections, crevassed glaciers, and stunning vistas of the surrounding peaks, including Mount Kazbek. Climbers typically approach from the Devdoraki Glacier, navigating icefalls and rocky ridges. The summit rewards with sweeping views of the Caucasus spine and the Truso Valley. Due to its difficulty, it is less crowded than nearby Kazbek, appealing to experienced alpinists seeking solitude and a true wilderness challenge.
