The Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument is a large stone and concrete circular structure erected in 1983 to symbolize the historical ties between Russia and Georgia. Perched on a cliff edge near Gudauri, it features a colorful interior mural depicting scenes from Georgian and Russian history. Visitors can walk around the monument and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Caucasus peaks and the deep valley below. It's a popular stop for photographers and road trippers traveling the Georgian Military Road.
