Kazbegi National Park encompasses a rugged alpine landscape in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, centered around the dormant stratovolcano Mount Kazbek (5,047 m). Established to preserve the region's rich biodiversity, the park is home to species such as the East Caucasian tur, chamois, and golden eagles. Hiking trails range from easy walks to multi-day treks, leading to glaciers, alpine lakes, and remote villages. The park's most famous landmark is the Gergeti Trinity Church, perched on a hill with Mount Kazbek as a backdrop.
