Parc de la Pépinière is Nancy's largest and most beloved public park, located just behind Place Stanislas. Originally a tree nursery (hence the name 'Pépinière'), it was transformed into a landscaped garden in the 19th century. The park offers a serene escape with wide avenues, shaded lawns, and a variety of tree species. Visitors can wander past ornate statues, a bandstand, and a charming rose garden. The park also houses a small zoo with farm animals and birds, making it a hit with families. There are playgrounds, a puppet theater, and plenty of benches for relaxation. Whether you're jogging, picnicking, or simply enjoying nature, the Parc de la Pépinière is a green oasis in the heart of the city.
