The Imperial Chapel, also known as the Palatine Chapel, is a small but ornate religious building located adjacent to the Musée Fesch. Built between 1857 and 1859, it was commissioned by Napoleon III to honor the Bonaparte family. The chapel's interior features marble altars, stained glass windows, and a crypt containing the tombs of several Bonapartes, including Napoleon's mother, Letizia, and his uncle, Cardinal Fesch. The architecture blends neoclassical and Baroque elements, creating a solemn yet elegant atmosphere. A visit here offers a quiet moment of reflection on the family's legacy.
