✨ HighlightEverything was excellent except for the prices. You’re paying a lot for the location and the amazing view of the water. Service was excellent! Very friendly service, server was very welcoming. Food was great!! All of the appetizers were very nicely done and presented well. Fish was fresh. Hot dishes came out piping hot. Would definitely return as we did. And would recommend.→

✨ HighlightThe Missus had a craving for biryani and we were always attracted to the highly bright sign of Hyderabad Biryani House. We had a delicious dinner of Chicken 65 semi dry, Chicken Dum Biryani, Chana Masala and buttered Naan. We ordered our dishes at medium spice level which we enjoyed except for the Chicken 65. We later learned from our server that a sauce is added to the Chicken 65 which we found was fire truck spicy hot. We also overheard from another server that South Indian food is very spicy and their mild with be a normal medium. The service was excellent and with the louder music, it made for a lively atmosphere. Albeit, sometimes it was hard to hear the Missus. However, we agreed the Chana Masala and Naan alone would make us return for another visit.→

✨ HighlightWhen an eatery is top rated by both locals and tourists alike, something surely went right. Phenom Penh more than lives up to its hype and more than justifies any wait time at the front for your seat at the table. By our conclusion, what these guys do right is that their menu selection contain a good mix of both 1) comfort and 2) novelty. For those who eat Cambodian/Vietnamese food often, the flavours here evoke a sense of nostalgia because the flavours are authentic and the chefs are faithful to their recipes. For the locals who revisit frequently, they could always depend on the consistency of the food they order here – meal in, meal out. For the curious newbie to this cuisine, there are enough on the menu that will be unlike anything you have eaten before. So much so that a meal here makes a pretty decent impression of a trip to South East Asia. Their Marinated Butter Beef is a prime example of this. The combination of raw meat and the sharp tangy freshness of the vinegar dressing and cilantro both shocks and titillates the senses. How about the Pan Fried Lotus Stems? The crunchy yet slippery stalks of lotus does a good job as a palate cleanser between the other heavier dishes, yet the texture of this vegetable will often be a new discovery for diners from many cultural backgrounds. Come dine here and discover what everyone has been raving about. It is an accomplished and proud staple on the Vancouver food scene and deserves all its plaudits.→

The beef tongue on the hot stone was a fun and interesting experience. My partner and I enjoyed sharing our dishes, and I’d come here frequently if I lived closer. Note: Came during the three-day weekend during rush hour, so it did take them a few minutes to acknowledge us and seat us.→

✨ HighlightA hidden gem in Vancouver for sure. I enjoyed the fish very much as they were all very fresh. I liked the toro dishes especially because the fattiness was perfect— they just melted in my mouth. The starter was a bit on the saltier side but the nigiris were a bit flavourless… I liked the aged eel as well; it is pretty unique for omakase. The white coffee cake was light and not too sweet. The service was amazing (server refilled ginger and pickled apple).→

✨ HighlightLast time I came here it was great but this time they had run out of toppings for the vegan dog so I just got it plain and I was going to add some condiments. The hot dog I got was nearly inedible and not because it was vegan but totally overcooked and dry with an also hard/dry bun. I went to pickup my other food order elsewhere and asked my husband to get this one but I definitely wouldn’t have accepted it had I picked up. The chicken karaage was also a mess fried in dirty oil flecked with black. Absolutely awful.→

✨ HighlightNice atmosphere and interior But the food was very disappointing. From appetizer to dessert only thing that we liked was chili oil. The eggplant was overcooked. It was not juicy at all. Tasted a little bitter(burn). The fried rice tasted like ketchup. The chicken wing was soggy, not crispy at all, and wasn't served hot. Dessert was not really balanced and it was dry. Use to be a really good restaurent. That's why I was very excited to visit this time. I don't think I will go back🥲 Btw service was really good.→

✨ HighlightWe searched for a late Sunday lunch korean cuisine near me and found this small restaurant. The topokki with the cheese topping was very good, with the price of $23.95 plus 2.95 , it actually was very expensive. But when it came with four deep fried dumplings, we were not regretted to order it. The beef tofu stew had good portion and served with korean purple rice. I wanted to say ‘ purple rice’ was the main factor we picked this restaurant. The cold noodle was also good, its broth was pleasant, without strong vinegar taste. The side dishes were good, but we didn’t get refill by the two busy servers.→

✨ HighlightWe made a stop here before heading to Victoria and this place is incredible! 🥘FOOD🥘: 8/10 We ordered 20 + dim sums and they are all delicious! Quality: My favorite gonna be the rice rolls with Chinese donuts, and Shu Mai! The size of the Shu Mai were triple the size of the Shu Mai in Seatle. The other dim sums were spectacular as well, like the chives cake, spring rolls and the cheong fun are all delicious! Appearance: All food look excellent, I love the way the present the food, it makes them look very appealing and take a look at the picture of the osmanthus cake, that is gorgeous! Portion size: Great and generous portions, Couldn't have asked for a bigger portion! We were so full afterall. Price: the 7 of us paid $200 in total and it was so worth it, rounding up to about $22 USD per person! Definitely a great deal! 🧑🏻 Service🧑🏻: 8/10 Friendliness: shout out to Cindy, she is amazing and she has been so kind and nice to us. I love how she was very attentive and changed my plate filled with tea before I noticed that! Timeliness: we didn't wait too long for the food to get here so in general the dim sum came super fast, maybe within 8mins after we placed the order! And mind you we went during peak hours like around 11AM! Environment: Very bright locations with many windows and enough lighting! I also love their design, very modern and classic. The environment is also very clean too! Location: Great location with many of parkings, well we actually parked at the wrong parking lot and have to walk to Aberdeen mall. But it was really close. ✨ HighlightCame here for dim sum and ordered a variety of dumplings, pan fried turnip cakes, this century egg pastry dish, shrimp/beef rice rolls, pan fried noodles, pea tips, tripe, and sticky rice. Loved how each dish came out hot, and I thought most of the dishes were solid. The wrapping for the steamed shrimp dumpling were falling apart, but they were still tasty. The turnip cake was cut into small cubes, which was different than what in used to, but it was crispy and surprisingly tasty. The pan fried noodles were not the best I’ve ever had. It was missing some flavor, and the pepper was too overpowering. The century egg pastry was probs my least favorite. Notes: They accept credit card here.
