Phu Van Lau

Phu Van Lau, located on the banks of the Perfume River in the heart of Hue, is a beautifully preserved two-story pavilion that served as a notice board for the Nguyen emperors. Visitors today can admire its elegant architecture, featuring a tiled roof and ornate wooden details, while strolling through the adjacent park. 历史背景

Built in 1819 under Emperor Gia Long, Phu Van Lau was where imperial edicts and royal announcements were posted for public view. It remained a key communication point until the end of the Nguyen dynasty in 1945.
