Little Havana immerses visitors in Cuban culture along Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street). The air smells of strong coffee and hand-rolled cigars. At Máximo Gómez Park, elderly locals play dominoes with fierce concentration. Walk into a bodega for a cortadito, watch a torcedor roll a cigar by hand, and listen to salsa music drifting from open doorways. The neighborhood also hosts the Viernes Culturales street festival on the last Friday of each month.
