San Agustin Church, located within Intramuros, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest stone churches in the Philippines, completed in 1607. Its Baroque facade and interior feature trompe-l'œil murals and a carved wooden pulpit. The church survived wars and earthquakes, with its massive stone walls and buttresses showcasing Spanish colonial engineering. Visitors can also explore the adjacent San Agustin Museum, housed in the monastery, which displays religious artifacts and colonial-era art.
