Xita Church is a Protestant church for the Korean Chinese community in the Xita area of Shenyang. The present-day six-story building was dedicated in 1993, and the original 1917 church is preserved on its right side. About 3,000 Christians attend services here.

历史背景

The church began with five missionaries from a women's group in Uiju, Korea, who arrived in 1913. The original church was completed in 1917. All Korean missionaries left in 1951. Wu Aien became responsible in 1957, and the church was closed during the Cultural Revolution from 1966 to 1979. Wu Aien became pastor in 1981. The current building was dedicated in 1993, and a Chinese-language group started in 2003.
