Amaluna is a Cirque du Soleil touring show that transforms the big top into a mystical island world inspired by Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' and themes of femininity and renewal. The story follows a young woman's coming-of-age journey on an island ruled by goddesses, where she discovers love and inner strength. The performance features a predominantly female cast and band, with breathtaking acrobatics such as aerial straps, contortion, juggling, and a stunning water-filled bowl act. The set design evokes a lunar landscape with a giant moon, waterfalls, and lush vegetation. Live musicians play an original score blending rock, classical, and world music.
