The Ethnography Museum of Ankara, located in the Ulus district, houses an extensive collection of traditional Turkish artifacts, including carpets, costumes, and woodwork. Housed in a striking stone building, it served as the temporary resting place of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's body from 1938 until his mausoleum, Anıtkabir, was completed in 1953.
