House of the Free Press

The House of the Free Press (Casa Presei Libere) is a massive, imposing building located in northern Bucharest's Piata Presei Libere. Constructed in the 1950s in the Socialist Realist style, it was originally designed to house the country's press and publishing activities. The building is a prominent example of communist-era architecture, featuring a central tower flanked by symmetrical wings.
