Umeda Sky Building

The Umeda Sky Building is one of Osaka's most iconic modern landmarks, located in the Kita district. Designed by architect Hiroshi Hara, it consists of two 40-story towers linked at the top by the 'Floating Garden Observatory,' a circular open-air observation deck that offers breathtaking 360-degree views of Osaka and beyond. The building's futuristic design, with its glass-enclosed escalator ascending through the void between the towers, is a marvel in itself. Visitors can enjoy the observation deck, which features a sunbaked wooden deck and a small shrine, as well as indoor viewing areas with interactive displays.
