EDION Arena Osaka, formerly known as Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, is a versatile indoor arena located in the Namba district of Osaka. Built in 1964, it has a seating capacity of around 10,000 and is a key venue for professional basketball (home to the Osaka Evessa), volleyball, and other indoor sports, as well as concerts and events. The arena's design features a distinctive circular shape and a modern interior with good sightlines. Opened in 1964 as Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, it was renamed EDION Arena Osaka in 2011 after a naming rights deal. It has hosted numerous sporting events and concerts, including the 2006 FIBA World Championship.
