Nagoya TV Tower, completed in 1954, was Japan's first broadcast tower and remains an iconic landmark. Visitors ascend to the observation decks for sweeping 360-degree views of Nagoya's skyline, including Nagoya Castle and the distant mountains. The tower's retro-futuristic design and nighttime illuminations make it a popular spot for both daytime and evening visits. Inside, there are cafes and souvenir shops, and the surrounding Hisaya-odori Park provides a pleasant setting for a stroll.
