Gilbert Hill is a striking natural monument, a 61-meter (200 ft) vertical column of black basalt rock, formed over 66 million years ago by volcanic activity. Located in the midst of Andheri's dense urban sprawl, it's a surprising geological wonder. Visitors can climb the steps to the top, where a small temple sits and sweeping views of Mumbai's skyline unfold. It's a unique blend of natural history and urban vantage point.
