The Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount, commonly called Mount Mary Church, is a prominent Roman Catholic pilgrimage site in Bandra, Mumbai. Perched on a hill, the church offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. Originally built in 1640 and rebuilt in 1904, the basilica houses a revered statue of the Virgin Mary brought from Portugal. The annual Feast of the Nativity of Mary in September draws thousands of devotees and features a vibrant fair. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful stained-glass windows, and the serene sea breeze.
