The Tianjin Museum is the largest museum in Tianjin, located in Yinhe Plaza in the Hexi District. Its architecture, designed by Japanese architect Mamoru Kawaguchi, resembles a swan spreading its wings and has become an iconic city building. The museum covers about 50,000 square meters and holds nearly 200,000 collections of art and relics, including calligraphy, paintings, bronzeware, ceramics, jadeware, seals, inkstones, oracle bones, coins, historic documents, and modern relics.
