Italian Style Street, also known as the Italian Concession, is a picturesque area in Tianjin that transports visitors to Europe. Centered around Marco Polo Square, the street is lined with beautifully restored Italianate buildings, many housing restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and boutiques. The architecture features pastel facades, arched windows, and wrought-iron balconies, creating a romantic ambiance. The area was part of the Italian concession in Tianjin from 1901 to 1947, one of the few Italian concessions in China. After being neglected for decades, it was restored in the early 2000s and reopened as a tourist and cultural district.
