Diwang Mansion

Diwang Mansion, also known as the Emperor's Mansion, is a historic building located at the triangular intersection of Shennan East Road, Jiefang Road, and Baoan South Road in Luohu District, Shenzhen. This early 20th-century mansion was once the residence of a wealthy local merchant and now serves as a museum and cultural site. The building features a blend of Chinese and Western architectural styles, with ornate carvings, red brick walls, and a traditional courtyard. Built in the 1920s, Diwang Mansion was the home of a prominent local businessman. After the founding of the People's Republic, it was used as government offices and later restored as a museum. It is one of the few remaining historic buildings in rapidly developed Shenzhen.
