Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral, also known as Shenyang Cathedral, is a striking Gothic Revival church located in the city center. Built in 1878 by French missionaries, it features twin spires, pointed arches, and stained-glass windows. The cathedral has survived wars and the Cultural Revolution, serving as a symbol of Shenyang's Christian heritage. Today, it remains an active place of worship, with regular masses. Visitors can admire the serene interior, climb the bell tower for city views, and explore the adjacent small museum on the church's history.
