The Hailang River flows through the heart of Mudanjiang, providing a serene escape from urban bustle. Well-maintained walking and cycling paths line both banks, shaded by willow trees and dotted with benches. Locals come here for morning tai chi, evening strolls, and fishing. The river is especially picturesque in autumn when the foliage turns golden, and in winter when the frozen surface reflects the snow.
