Meridian Hall, originally known as the O'Keefe Centre, is a premier performing arts venue in downtown Toronto. Located at 1 Front St E, it's a landmark in the Waterfront Communities-The Island district. Meridian Hall opened in 1960 as the O'Keefe Centre, named after the brewing company that funded its construction. It was designed by architect Peter Dickinson and quickly became Toronto's cultural hub, hosting the world premiere of 'Camelot' in 1960. It was renamed in 2018 after a sponsorship deal.
