Bait-al-Naboodah Museum is a beautifully restored traditional house in the historic Al Boorj area of Sharjah, opposite Al Eslah School Museum and Al Arsah Souq. The museum offers a glimpse into early 20th-century Emirati family life. The building itself is a fine example of local architecture, built from coral stone, gypsum, and teak. Rooms are furnished with period artifacts, including furniture, kitchenware, and textiles. The courtyard features a wind tower (barjeel) that provided natural cooling. Exhibits include pearl diving equipment, traditional clothing, and household items. The museum is part of the Sharjah Heritage Area, making it easy to combine with nearby attractions. The intimate scale allows visitors to imagine daily routines of the wealthy merchant family who once lived here.
