Empress Market is a historic wholesale and retail market built in the 1880s, named after Queen Victoria. Its red-brick and stone facade features a central clock tower, arched windows, and ornate balconies. Inside, a maze of stalls overflows with fresh produce, spices, dry fruits, meat, and household goods. The vibrant atmosphere, with vendors calling out prices and shoppers haggling, offers an authentic Karachi bazaar experience. The upper floor houses a bird and pet market, adding to the eclectic charm.
