Dongxi Tower

Dongxi Tower, also known as the East Pagoda, is a magnificent stone pagoda located within the Kaiyuan Temple complex in Quanzhou. Standing at over 48 meters tall, it is one of the tallest stone pagodas in China and a masterpiece of Song Dynasty architecture. The tower is octagonal in shape and features intricate carvings of Buddhist deities, guardians, and floral motifs on each of its five stories.
