Từ Đàm Temple is a key historical site in Hue, famous as the epicenter of the Buddhist crisis in 1963, when monks protested against the government. Today, it is a working temple with a distinctive modern pagoda built in the 1970s. Visitors can see the main hall with a large Buddha image, a memorial stupa dedicated to Thích Quảng Đức, and a museum documenting the crisis. The temple grounds are spacious, with a lotus pond and a serene atmosphere. It remains a symbol of religious freedom and resilience.
