Al Noor Mosque, also known as the Sharjah Mosque, is a prominent landmark on the Al Mamzar Corniche, with its gleaming white domes and elegant minarets reflecting in the waters of the Arabian Gulf. The mosque's design draws from Ottoman and Andalusian styles, featuring intricate geometric patterns and calligraphy. It is one of the few mosques in Sharjah that offers guided tours for non-Muslims, providing a rare opportunity to learn about Islamic culture and architecture. Al Noor Mosque was opened in 2005 as a gift from the ruler of Sharjah to the people. It was designed by Syrian architect Faisal Al Qassem and has since become a symbol of the emirate's cultural openness.
