Khartoum War Cemetery

The Khartoum War Cemetery is a peaceful, meticulously maintained burial ground located in the heart of Sudan's capital. It serves as the final resting place for over 1,000 Commonwealth servicemen who died during the First and Second World Wars, as well as a few from other conflicts. The cemetery is characterized by its orderly rows of white headstones, lush green lawns, and a central Stone of Remembrance.
